The Chronicles of Christine

Growing up in Taihape doesn’t exactly set the scene for a page-turning biography. To be fair, making the studio audience for “It’s in the Bag” and starring in the Skating Club’s float at the annual Gumboot Day parade definitely were stand-out moments for me, but having quietly shaken off the hillbilly stereotype, I’m quite keen to keep that part of my life on the down-low if that’s okay.

These days I like to think of myself as an International Woman of Mystery. I’ve been back in Wellington for over three years now though, which doesn’t exactly scream ‘international’ and I’m not particularly mysterious about many things, so I’m thinking  maybe 2009 might be the year of reinvention… I’ll let you know how I go with that.
